Yolanda Katherina Szigeti

Yolanda Katherina Szigeti passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born in Hungary in 1938, Yolanda devoted her life to her faith, her family, and caring for others. She worked in healthcare, where her compassion and dedication touched many lives. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother whose kindness, generosity, and selflessness were evident in everything she did. She gave wholeheartedly to those around her and always put the needs of others before her own.

Yolanda grew up on a farm alongside her six brothers and sisters. In 1957, she immigrated to Canada, and in 1970, she made the United States her home. It was there that she embraced her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, which remained a guiding force throughout her life.

She was resilient, creative, and found great joy in nature. Those who knew Yolanda remember her as a warm, gentle, and generous person whose quiet strength and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Yolanda is survived by her daughters and her granddaughter, who will cherish her memory always. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
